Hippies with jobs.

Once while i was at a park, three guys that looked about 30-ish and corporate-geeky showed up with two guitars and a mandolin and jammed for a good hour. it was kind of cool. now that i'm not 14, it's really cool!
i found the rock equivalent of the bluegrass geek today. Bel Auburn. I read on their website-- "We live in the right atrium of [Ohio], and like it just fine. We've had some opportunities to move away and live/play in some big cities, but for whatever reason, we love the fields and the fact that the houses around here still have front porches... As far as the mission of the band goes, here's what we are about: We love music, and love people who love music. We try to write good songs, and then play out as much as we can and sing them for good people."

They have a full length album for download, free. It's pretty good too! Very apporoachable and poppy. Favorites are Metropolitan(watercolor), Burn Unit and Metropolitan(oil).
